SALMON, TROUT AND PIKE ANGLING
Millbank House was built in 1733 and is the Georgian Country Home of the Keays Family. The house offers accommodation for visitors and is situated in rural countryside, surrounded by pastureland overlooking the Mulcair River famous for salmon and trout fishing.
The Mulcair River and it's tributaries provide 30 kms of salmon and wild brown trout fishing to be explored.
Lough Derg and the East Clare Lakes where the "European Pike Angling Challenge" is held annually offer some sporting pike, trout and coarse fishing.
Richard, who has 30 years of experience in arranging fishing holidays for visiting anglers can make all arrangements for licences and permits, boats, tackle and guides. There is a tackle shop on site.
Dining options locally, shopping, horse and greyhound racing, touring West of ireland, Rock of Cashel, Ring of Kerry and has many top class golf courses in the area.
